MiSTer support for new Digital I/O Board version 1.2

I have seen that a new version 1.2 of the IO Board has appeared (https://misterfpga.co.uk/mister-fpga-ho ... -io-board/) that does not use the GPIO1 connector from the DE10Nano and announce it as an alternative to be able to use other hardware accessories with the MiSTer.
Does the MiSTer framework allow you to release the pins you normally use with the IO Board relative to the DE10Nano secondary GPIO using some global directive? I have seen that you have to use a specific switch setting of the DE10Nano (SW3 = On) to use this version of the IO Board.
I am interested in this topic to be able to couple my Konami-2 CPU adapter (which I designed at the time to be able to connect precisely to the GPIO1) to the MiSTer and incorporate it into a core for debugging purposes using the MiSTer framework directly.
