Tina's adventure island msx

Hello has any been able to get this game working been trying messing with rom settings but it always fails with the message

*** No suitable device found
*** User error 1
A:\SR\SAVES}

I have notice some other games fail with the same message .

User error sounds like its me lol, i know the game can run on a msx 1 and will run better on a msx 2 it also uses PSG chip for the sound and should run fine an any msx and works fine on the ps mini with retro arch.

mmm is it trying to save to a disk drive and that way it fails i dont know.

Well and help will be aprecaited.

I get the same symptoms, but after changing:
Pref device: Memory Mapper
ROM type: Linear
...I managed to see the title screen but then it crashes. So I suppose it's possible with some more tweaking, but it's above my paygrade.
