Can't connect wifi with Comfast CF-812AC [Solved]

I've got an Comfast CF-812AC wifi dongle. It's listed here as compatible:

Running the wifi script it lists the networks. I can select my network and it asks for the password.
But it does not connect after this. Tried many times and it simply won't connect
Edit: Got it connected a single time to my 5g network. After restart it won't connect anymore. My 2 networks have different ids.
Edit 2: Got it working by setting Auto Channel on my router. Was using channel 11 and looks like the linux driver does not like it.
