MiSTer with Sony PVM-2730QM sync issues

Hi all,

I'm having trouble setting my MiSTer with a Sony PVM-2730Q (PAL version with built-in SCART socket).

I got the MiSTer pre-built and it works juste fine with HDMI cable on LCD screen.

However when using the RGB SCART cable I also purchased from Manu Ferhi (https://manuferhi.com/p/cable-rgb-scart ... -n-go-next) it seems it doesn't sync at all even though I set VGA scaler to 0, composite_sync to 1, fb_terminal to 1 and direct-video to 0.

Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Are the core specific scandoubler settings turned off?

Yes, and the sync issue occurs at start of the MiSTer, I don't even see the Menu

Strange enough, it works just fine on my other PVM (JVC), the issue only occurs with the big boy from Sony.

You may need to add +5v power input to the scart cable.

I ended up using a scart hub and it magically worked
