Does anybody know how to play the WHDLoad game Clown-o-mania on MiSTer? I tried different settings but it always freezes at the Starbyte-Logo at start.

This is one of my personal favorites, and I am pretty sure it used to work. I can confirm what you’re seeing on the latest MegaAGS, and I would have noticed if this didn’t work when I went through the 700+ games to make custom 5× crop and offset settings. But now it freezes on the logo screen. Wondering if something changed in the Minimig core.

I remember having the same issue with this game as well. If I remember correctly, I set minimig to A500 mode and used an disk version of the game it worked fine.

I found the solution: Just use the regular MegaAGS setting but chipset ECS (instead of AGA) and at least 512 KB Slowmem. Then the game works in MegaAGS.

Just checked with the latest WHDLoad setup, and it works now. Will be included in the next MegaAGS setup.

Nice! Please also include the great missing game „Final Odyssey: Theseus verses the Minotaur“ (the image could be found in DamienD’s upload folder at the eab ftp).

hmmm, i have updated to latest whdload 18.7 and clown-o-mania still hangs on title screen.
im using amigaos 3.2, i hope this is not a problem

Might be worth trying with 3.1? Also make sure D-Cache is off.

All these games are commercial, still being sold.
