Hi,
The monitor I usually have my MiSTer plugged into, is 1680x1050.
Anyone else use this resolution with Shadow Masks and have some settings/config to share?
The monitor also does 1920x1080 via HDMI but I think the panel only goes up to 1050p so it probably scales internally.
I would like to get an image correctly scaled to the panel.
Thanks

Re: 1680x1050 - Shadow Mask settings?
The main difference here between 1080p is that you will lose a lot of 5x crop integer scale options. So it's either 4x integer scale with a sizable border or else non-integer scaling to fill the screen. Either approach works fine with shadow masks on their own, since they aren't meant to align to pixels anyway.
Things only get complicated if you want to add scanline scaling filters into the mix, where it is possible for interference patterns to appear between the scanlines and shadow mask. Usually flipping between a mask meant for 4x scaling and 5x scaling can solve the issue. And of course using scanline scaling filters can be a bit iffy with non-integer scaling.
