Startup LED Blinking Meanings

Hi,

My Mister stopped to show HDMI from nothing. Now the red and green leds blink forever on startup. The yellow blinks 3 times as if loading something but after this, the red and green blinks every second forever. I'd like to have an idea of the blinking led's code that Ive not found anywhere.

Is there a way to check if DE-10 is damaged from blinking leds ?

If the red and green lights are alternating and fading in and out, that's what they always do when the menu core is loaded.

Was this after an update? Have you tried a different SD card?

Check your HDMI cable, I had similar issues with a cable that stops working with the MisTer (but is still fine with other sources)

Thanks for all answers. I've changed HDMI cables and TV sets but to no avail.

I think it was after an update_all script.

But I regenerated a new SD card from scratch and there is no output too.

I'll try with a VGA monitor to see what happens

I have new sympthoms.

1) after turning on, red and green leds blink forever and yellow blinks 1 to 3 times as loading a menu core
2) Immediately after core is loaded keyboard and network lights turn off
3) no image, no keyboard and no network, but green and red leds continues forever to blink in tandem

Ive upodated to the last mister version

If the red and green lights are alternating and fading in and out, that's what they always do when the menu core is loaded.

I think you meant red and orange, the green is for disk activity. Is it possible to turn off the lights or make them stop blinking? I'd like it go dark completely if that's even possible.
