This isn't really too important now since the list of arcade cores isn't all that big but...

It would be nice if arcade cores had an XML or something that specified certain aspects of the machine. For example vertical/horizontal monitor orientation, number of simultaneous players, number of buttons etc.

This would be useful for anyone using a MiSTer in their real arcade machine to filter out cores that would be problematic with their physical machine.

Thoughts?

This partly exists already in the form of the arcade organizer. This is used by the update_all script. It has criteria like display orientation and manufacturer.
