From the changelog:
- Support for 256 phases with 10bit coefficients filters (cores will be updated later to support it).
Does anybody know what this means, is it some kind of HDR support?

Suspect it's just more advanced capabilities for adaptive scanline filters.

Long story short it allows for better looking effects when the image is scaled at other than integer scale. With these filters it will be much easier to make games look good full screen regardless of what resolution your display is.

It works well to diminish the interference patterns you get when using scan-lines combined with non-integer scaling. I didn't see them anymore with the test cores I tried yesterday.

Hey everyone,
How can I access these filters? I can't seem to find them anywhere (used "update all" for my latest update).
Thanks

Doesn't look like any cores are updated to use them. Beta cores and test filters should be available over on Discord. New features like this take time to roll out. We don't even have adaptive scanlines in the updater yet, and those came out weeks ago.

It's not done yet. ghogan42 needs to finalize the release of the new filters and the framework has to be updated for multiple cores.

Got it...
I knew it needs to be rolled out to the cores, but ao486 was already updated and I couldn't find the option, so I asked
That's ok, I will patiently wait for it to come to the updater.
Thanks
