Archie broken?

I did not use this core for quite some time but not only do I get a black screen but I cannot activate the OSD and have to reboot MISTer. My MISTer is up to date.
Can anyone confirm?

Are you trying to use it with a CRT? The VGA scaler is forced on recent versions of the core so it doesn't output 15Khz over Direct Video or the I/O board anymore (unless you configure a suitable modeline).
If this isn't the case, try re-downloading and replacing riscos.rom from the github and/or deleting CMOS.dat on your MiSTer.

Have you got one you can share?

Nope, sorry. I did experiment a while back, but was only able to get an
extremely narrow image on my Trinitron.
I was kinda hoping myself that someone would chime in with one that works!

Thanks for the answers. I just have an idea regarding this problem: it is the riscos.rom file but not its contents, instead its name.
I use a USB drive and in my regular setup it is formatted exFAT, I am doing some tests with a different SD card and USB drive and this drive is formatted ext4 which is case sensitive.
Does anyone knows the proper case for riscos.rom? I downloaded the repo for the core and tried to find out but I am unable to find it. I have no knowledge of the framework which makes things difficult. I see that ioctl and indexes are used for the rom and the cmos but do not find any riscos string. Same thing when searching the rbf with an hex editor.

In the event it's case sensitive, try games/ARCHIE/RISCOS.ROM.

Thanks, I already tried RiscOS.rom without success. I will try your suggestion later today. I see you are very active in MISTer FPGA development, do you know how this thing works?

I dabble a little bit with development on Mister and I understand just enough to get me in trouble.

Not sure if you are using HDMI or trying the analog video out (VGA)?
If you want to use a 15KHz monitor I regrettably have to recommend using the version from November 1st 2020. That's what I use. RBF download
here. Since then I have not seen a version that supports 15KHz monitors.
Riscos rom on my Archie is lower case: riscos.rom. It should be 2048K.

Thanks to Flandango, RISCOS.ROM did the trick.
Note to USB drives users when the drive is formatted NTFS or ext4:
Rename your riscos.rom to RISCOS.ROM.
I see several posts regarding which video I use. I use HDMI.

After updating MISTer using the new downloader riscos.rom is back. At least it did not remove RISCOS.ROM.
Same thing with the SharpMZ games subdirectory: it should be sharpmz when using case sensitive FS. After updating I now have both.

The newest version of Archie really does not seem to work on a 15 kHz monitor. I tried everything! That's bad, cause the first Archimedes which I want to emulate is "the Amiga killer" from 1987 running Zarch, sold with an Amiga-like 15 khz-monitor (probably a rebranded Commodore 1084). I personally just want to play Zarch.
