Once this core is started I do not see any way to switch to a different core via the OSD and have to reset MISTer. I do not remember this happening before. My MISTer is up to date.
Can anyone confirm?

Select the System menu option from Main Menu...you will get the familiar...System Menu.
Not sure if it's always been like this or something changed in latest Main but that's were it is now.

Thanks, that did it. Total mistake on my part: I was setting up a new SD card and USB drive to do some testing after spending quite some time doing the install and running update all that I forgot to map my controller. Pressing the menu button on the controller activated the OSD but pressing the button I normally use as the menu OK button did not bring the core menu so I gave up. I should have tried the KB.
