Atari 2600 ADC for Loading Supercharger Games?

Unread post by astromaddie »

I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to load Supercharger games via the tape input. I have MP3s of the games I used to use with my own Supercharger, and when I play them on the “tape input” screen, I hear the noise over the speakers and “Press Play” goes away, but “Rewind Tape” stays and no loading bars appear. I’ve tried multiple tracks to the same effect. What should I be doing differently, is there a bios file I need to place properly?

Edit: sorry, I think this better belongs in a console core forum… feel free to move.

Double edit: my setup was fine, my hardware that was playing back the MP3s was apparently too low quality so it couldn’t transfer all the binary data

a bit necro but i'm glad you got it figured out. It can be sensitive to both compression quality of mp3's (it's data!) and volume levels.
