Hi,
Since I have reduced space for my MiSTer+PC setup i share a screen between both and I would like to share the mouse/keyboard. I thought it was as simple as to use a USB switch. I ordered this one https://www.sabrent.com/product/USB-SW3 ... ndicators/ and while it worked on the PC, it didn't on MiSTer.
Does anyone have successfully shared mouse/keyboard with a switch and if yes, please share which one did work.
Thanks in advance.

I think you need a KVM like this one: https://www.ebay.it/itm/224932268747

Hello,
Yes I am doing this with an old D-Link KVM switch. I share it between two real PCs (PS/2 connectors) and MiSTer (via cheap PS/2 -> USB adapter from Amazon).

this one worked for me.
Its possible that the hub you bought isn't compatible with 1ms USB polling (if you have that set). Which is why that sort of thing is off by default.

I use one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AJP7FLC This device is a simple pushbutton switch, which takes 2 USB-B cables out of the back to connect to 2 different devices.
I pair that with one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098L6MZG9 to connect both the keyboard and mouse to the switch (and thus, to a single USB port on the MiSTer or PC).

Re: USB switch to share mouse/keyboard with PC
I ended up ordering the UGREEN USB switch as recommended here and it has the same behaviour as the previous one: Works perfectly on PC, when plugged into MiSTer USB hub lights blink for a second and then are off.
I do have a 4A PSU, the USB hub is from ultimatemister.com and works perfectly with all other usb devices.
I have tried only keyboard and only mouse and none of them worked. I also plugged in a 5V usb mini adapter into the USB hub just to make sure. And to be 100% sure I also tried other USB cables.
One more thing I tested is USB fast polling on/off, which also didn't work.
Any suggestions before I send it back?
