Recommend Displays and Their Supported Resolutions

It's hard out there so why not crate a list.

I have a Samsung G5 32 inch
1920x1440 works
Sync 0 (tested 2 but had issues with gameboy, but after learning gameboy is not the best for testing this, I have to re-test)

Looking for a new, non curved screen, I had a hard time finding recommendations. Yes, I've seen the proart thread, plan on adding that monitor here.

I'm looking for a 32 inch monitor, but I don't think a thread for only 32 inch monitors is the best move.

So let's make a list.

You post:
monitor name and model number
If it suports 1920x1440
And what sync mode works.
Special timings (if needed)

And I update this first post with every added monitor.

RevolvingDork:
ProArt PA248QV
1920x1200
vsync_adjust=2
video_mode=1920,48,32,80,1200,3,6,26,154128

As I said in this thread:

viewtopic.php?t=4558

32GK850G 1920x1440 doesn't work

32GK850F 1920x1440 does work

In both of them vsync_adjust=2 works in all cores I tried, mostly arcade ones.

LG 27GL850 1440p 144hz gsync https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gl850-b

1440p and Vsync adjust 2 works. I did have to use the Atrac17 6x modelines though. It also rotates 90 degrees for tate mode.

Just need to turn off the VRR feature to enable the Just Scan 1:1 aspect ratio

EDIT: I've now tested it with the higher ipad res and vscale_mode=4 and it actually works fine when the monitor is set to just scan since the actual display resolution usually ends up being close to or below 1440p anyway.

Dell 27 inch S2721DS (1440p 75Hz) monitor works with 1920x1440p on the Mister in low input lag mode. In monitor options you enable 4:3 aspect ratio and everything looks amazing.

The AOC AG271QG 1440p 165HZ GSYNC Monitor does not work in 1920x1440p. :(

Gsync modules on 1440p monitors in general seems to be bad news for 1920x1440. Seen a lot of complaints here to that effect.

Haven't done much testing but I've been pretty satisfied with this relatively cheap 27" 4K Samsung monitor : amazon.com/dp/B09FRCXSJK
Don't think it has noticable lag, it does tate (clockwise only), and looks pretty good overall, except for black screens which look pretty grey since it's edge-lit
Have only been using with 1080p output but all arcade games I threw at it worked fine with vsync_adjust=2 including 55hz/57hz stuff. It also accepts 70hz/75hz ranges for cores like DOS and Wonderswan. PAL Megadrive didn't work correctly (flickering) so might not be a good choice for PAL stuff.

I have the Asus ProArt PA278QV and it works with vsync_adjust 2 for every core I've ever tried. Rotates both ways. I'm really happy with it!

Fixed post according to OP.

ASUS PorArt PA278QV
Supports 1920x1440
V_Sync 2
VRR Min 48 VRR Max 75
