Advice for hacking RGB input on CRT TV for MiSTer

Greetings all,
So I have acquired a pair of 19" CRT TVs, one Panasonic and one RCA, to build into arcade cabinets for my MiSTer (one horizonal mount, one vertical). I have been researching the process of hacking the jungle chip to add RGB input to these TVs via the OSD menu output:

I am trying to figure out the best way to go forward from the perspective of the MiSTer. I already have the analog I/O board with the VGA HD15 output port. It looks like putting another standard VGA HD15 port on the TV back panel would be the best option? But then I need to add a 470 ohm resistor on the Composite Sync line?
Has anyone else here already gone down this road? Any helpful feedback appreciated.
