Nice work, have you got snac adaptors for the front ports?

No.
I think I will solder a ps1/ps2 to usb adapter in the future, but not a SNAC. I’ll see.
I use XBox 360 controlers for consoles cores and arcades sticks for arcades ones, I’m happy.

That's great work. Fits so well into the shell of a dead PlayStation.
A short extension on the SD card could be useful inside the CD lid.
You can also get the USER port directly connected up to the from console ports and memory card adaptors.

Thank you. It was not easy to fit all (power supply, extensions cables, the mister with analog i/o, the usb hub), and it was not a dead PlayStation but a working one
payed 30€ (I have another working PlayStation, now I have pieces for future repair if necessary).
Good idea for the SD card extension, in the future, i will add one.

How did the controllers work? Did you use the snac port or IO?

You'd have to keep the lid open for ventilation though. You might want to consider a custom lid with vents, so you can keep it closed without it overheating

Another option would be installing the MiSTer upside down and venting from the bottom.

I've never used a PSOne, but IIRC, my actual PS1 lid cover wasn't airtight, so with the fan blowing, it may be able to pull in enough air from around the edges of the CD cover.
It's a shame the DE-10 doesn't have a temp sensor for the FPGA.

You can add a temperate sensor onto the 1.3-1.4 RTC addon boards.
I used one of these:
https://www.digikey.com/en/products/det ... RL7/760456
When installed it is positioned near the main package but not a direct measurement.
You can have it display the temp on an i2c oled via aptly named i2c2oled:
