Unable to Run Downloader Script

Unread post by Audiophile »

Hello all.
Got my Mister quite some time ago, got it up and running, then life happened and it got shelved. I am having an issue getting getting the Downloader script to run. This is what I get when I run the downloader script.
env: ?python3?: No such file or directory
Dowloader failed!

Currently I am on v200216, os v200122. I have the blisster addon, 128 sdram and the IO board. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Frank

The downloader script was updated a while back and the preceding version deprecated. Generally the "Update_All" script is considered the go-to for updating MiSTer these days as it will update everything from MiSTer Main, Linux and a whole heap of other things.

Failing that, check your network connection and report back or you may save yourself jumping through a whole heap of hoops by performing a fresh install.

The scripts were updated to use python. Run the downloader script if that too requires python then you will need to reinstall using Mr Fusion.
