Audio Distortion in "Nickelodeon Rugrats - Search for Reptar"

After a few video intros, Search for Reptar is supposed to jump into an in-engine rendition of the Rugrats theme song but currently plays extremely distorted/crackly sound. I've tried the USA version from multiple redump sources now and it's the exact same issue in each. I have not tried any versions from other regions. I've also tried toggling various settings, searching for a fix but nothing seems to work for me. Any ideas?

Can reproduce it. Luckily it seems to be fine in the other parts of the game.

Thank you for looking into it. I was about to double-check my BIOS or something so I'm glad you could reproduce it. The game seems correct in other parts on my end, too.
