Skullmonkeys Runs too Fast

In the game Skullmonkeys, the frame rate is in 94fps, so the game is running too fast.
Is it a setting or issue?

It's running at 60fps for me
USA redump compressed to CHD
Tried both current release version and latest test build of the PSX core, combined with both stable and latest unstable main. Couldnt get it to go above 60

Please go through your button mappings and map the "Fast Forward" button.
Then press it short -> it's gone.
Should also be gone when you reboot the core, but maybe you bound it to a button you regulary press.
