Tried loading 280ZZZAP today (Ive never successfully ran it)
game loads i see the hood of the car, i hear the engine noises but it just tells me to shift into gear at low speed.
i cant move the vehicle at all ever does this happen to anyone else.
am i missing something?
Tried deleting the game and getting update all to re download it, no dice.

I just did a test: I have a controller with both D-Pad and analog sticks. It only works with the stick.

Edit: I can make it work with the D-Pad as the controller is a Logitech F310. It has a mode switch which swaps the D-Pad and the left stick. If I press the mode switch the D-Pad acts as the analog stick.

I was thinking my MiSTer was broken phew

To tell you the truth I did not know it until today. When the core came out I got stuck the same way you did and it did not occur to me to try the stick. After your post I tried it and used directly the stick and only after that did I test the D-Pad. Thanks for your post, without it I may never have known I had to use the stick.

Fyi, wheel games only work w/ the analog stick. Another arcade game that only works with the stick is Hang On Jr.
