Hello you all!
I'm pretty new to this forum and also pretty new to the MiSTer. My name is Slamy and I like retro computing.
The DE10-Nano was surely hard to find but now I have my hands on one and started to build a MiSTer from scratch.
I'm writing this post here to help others not making the same mistake as I did.
There are multiple sellers available but I think I got the worst one.
I've ordered the analog io board here: kaicolabs.com
While the product itself is currently on sale and therefore was pretty cheap, the quality fits the price.
I gave kaicolabs exactly one week to respond before posting negative comments about them online. And as you are reading this, you can assume that they didn't respond.
Now here is the problem: The PCBs are dirty and the resistor values were chosen wrongly.
Here a picture of the resistors:
Direct Video:
Analog VGA:
200 Ohms and 471 Ohms don't really provide a linear DAC.
I'm still not sure what to do here. Either buy a new one or just buy some resistors and resolder the board. But these types of resistors by themselves are hard to find.
English is not my first language. I'm sorry for mistakes.
Kind regards,
Slamy
