I have "Pong (Rev E).mra" inside the directory /media/fat/_Arcade
. The game loads and plays fine from what I see, but the only working button is "Start". I have tried with multiple joystick devices and also keyboard. Nothing. I have remapped the buttons and saved the settings. Still nothing. Even keyboard doesn't work. Is this the same for everyone or just me?

I cannot move the paddles in Pong
Re: I cannot move the paddles in Pong
Right now I can only press Start (which restarts the game).
I need to at least be able to go up and down, so I can move the paddle. I realised that the word "buttons" in the title was misleading so I've changed it now appropriate to avoid any confusion. My apologies. Anyway, I've just came across https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Arcade-Pong_MiSTer which states that reason I cannot use my controller.
-Q: Help! I'm unable to move the paddles using the keyboard!
A: Currently only analog joystick controls are supported.
That said, I guess I need two things:
- An Atari SNAC
- An Analog controller, like https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Nikou-Consol ... amp&sr=8-6
Right?

Is Pong only a 2 player came? no computer option to play in one player mode?

That's correct. It was pure TTL, there was no way to build AI logic that long ago.
