It has been two years I am using the stock fan that came with mister board, but now it is making a loud noise when I am playing.

So what noctua model do you recommend for it? I will try to find in ali.

I also dont have a heatsinker, I dont know if it adding on that noise making the fan work more.

NF-A4x10 you want the dedicated 5V version for low noise as it can easily run at 3.3V using the jumper select on the IO boards.

on ali I found this model but with differences like 3pin and 4 pin PWM, what I saw was basically differences in dB.

which one can I use on mister, the 3pin is fine?

The MiSTer IO board only has a 2 pin fan connector, so you will need to modify the fan connector to suit the IO boards 2 pin header connector.

is it too difficult to modify? I dont have experience with this.

I thought there was an adapter together with the fan.

There are connectors that you can use to connect the fan to a 2 pin contact included with retail version. If you have fan installed now you just cut off the wires and use that one. There's a instruction manual how to do it in the box with the fan. If you want it to look pretty you should use a solder pen and shrink tube.

You want the 3-pin not PWM version. You also want the exact model, not "this model with so and so" but that exact model. Noctua NF-A4x10 5V.

Never heard of counterfeit Noctua fans but AliExpress sounds like an excellent place to find a counterfeit.

You want this fan:

It comes with the adapter you need to connect to the 2-pin Mister supply. However, you end up with quite a long fan cable flopping about. You can likely do surgery to shorten it, but I haven't bothered.

If you would want to create the most tidy solution, you can shorten the lead and add a new connector. You need a crimping tool to do that. I explained how in detail in the description of my video here:
