The VIC-20 core received paddle support yesterday, which is great news. However, I just tried it and it doesn't seem to work with analog controls, like the thumb sticks of my DS4 or my Daptor (PDL/D9) adapters. Same thing with the C64 core. The VIC-20 core also only has an option to swap paddles, there are no input type settings.

I suppose these cores currently only support paddles modified to MiSTer paddles or MiSTer spinner controllers? If this is the case, I hope support for analog controls could be added. Has anyone else tried paddle support yet on Commodore cores?

Did you try with original Vic 20 paddles? Me too I own a Daptor adapter and I would like to know if is it possibile to use the originale Vic 20 paddles to play games like "The sky is fallen"...

I use Atari 2600 paddles. The only difference is the resistance range, the Atari paddles work on a real VIC as well. It doesn't seem to work with the Daptor at the moment.

I have a Egret spinner that works with Atari/Arkanoid/c64/NES cores and now works with the updated VIC20 core. Generally if your controller works as a spinner elsewhere it should work with the Vic core.
