C64 Tape loading using real Tapes
Hi All
Is anyone working on fixing the C64 core to enable loading real tapes via the Audio In Module. It works great with ZX and Amstrad but not with the C64.

Hi @Beaps,
There is a while that I didn't play with real tapes with the C64 core, but so far I remember I had no issue when I did it.

I'll double check this evening but to me it should work. (Of course by adjusting the volume in a proper way but should work in my opinion)
If the issue is that the tapes don't appear to load, don't forget to hit space once you press play on the tape. I've successfully loaded wav files from an audio player this way.

I don’t get that far lol, either the screen stays blue or the basic appears with gargled text
In this case, either your tape player has azimuth issue or you did not set the correct volume level.
Let's try with your mobile, download a WAV of a K7 game and connect your mobile earphone to the ADC of the Mister (Assuming that you still have an earphone connector at your mobile phone
Last but not least, are you sure that your K7 game is still ok ? Have you tried it on a real C64 ?
No point without some sort of tape control system on the C64
Even using tap files is mostly futile apart from single loads
