HDD to SSD

Just a quick one before I have to nip out!
I just bought an SSD to replace my mechanical HDD (the whirring sound was getting on my nerves when the room was quiet), and after copy and pasting all of my content to the SSD and putting it in the caddy, I don’t see any software anymore.
Any ideas? Possibly something obvious but I’ve not had chance to delve into it yet and thought someone may know a quick remedy. They’re both exFat, by the way, and I did make sure there weren’t any hidden files before I did the copy.

How is the folder structure in your SSD?

Exactly as it was on the HDD I copied it from. I thought it’d be a straight copy over, as I literally dragged and dropped it in. I’ll double check the actual structure when I get home,

Did you check in the MiSTer whether the drive itself actually gets mounted and if so, where it's mounted?

What is on you HDD?
How is your SSD formatted?
Which OS do you use to make the copy?

It wasn’t seated correctly in the caddy. Don’t I feel like an idiot now
I mean, it felt like it was, but I took it out and re-seated it and now it’s fine.
Thanks for any input anyway.
