Mega Man: The Power Battle missing button

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but when I tried playing Mega Man: The Power Battle, I could not map the weapon select button. The input was also not available leaving the controls at the default mapping. I loaded the Japanese Rockman version of the game and it had the same issue.

I played the game via Retroarch/Final Burn Neo to make sure I wasn't going crazy imagining a third button, but the weapon select input did work there.

The games were acquired via update all. Not sure how long this issue has been present since it's the first time I tried to play the game.

delete the mra and run the update all script again

Check the rbfs:
If you have both jtcps1.rbf and jtcps1_<Date Stamp>.rbf delete the one with the DateStamp.
At the same time check if it is not the same for other jt cores.

Ok, got it to work:

I checked the rbfs and only had the single jtcps1, so I then deleted the Mega Man: The Power Battle mra and ran update all. The option to map "Weapon Change" in the define input menu showed up this time.

Hopefully this might help someone else with the same or similar issue. Thank you for the assistance!
