Colecovision Controller Gamer-Pro

Hi guys I just bought this Colecovision joystick used, and I wanted to make it work with Gamer Pro and its cable, but when I'm in the Core to configure it, the second key and the number keys don't work. I wanted to understand is it a joystick or a configuration problem? Could you help me thanks
