Does the Steam Controller work with MiSTer?

Just curious, has anyone tested the Steam Controller on MiSTer? If so, does it work?

I haven't tried it, but I think it would probably just show up as a HID device like an xbox controller.

I checked.. Works with a native adapter. But it is not convenient to play on touch buttons.

More was wondering for the sake of Latency and such, was going to send it to Misteraddons for him to test along with some other devices.

Any good uses for a steam controller like as a paddle for pong or cursor control for light gun shooters?

Been trying to find a good universal alternative for couch play that doesn't require a mouse or original controller setup for more unique controls
