Remember wireless password? Or even better, auto-connect?

Unread post by mist-rich »

Hi all,

I did search for this but could not find anything,

I use the wireless dongle to connect my Mister to the internet and then FTP to the folders I need.

It is a bit long winded starting the Wifi Script each time and even longer putting my password in - is there a way to auto-connect on boot or at least save my password please?
Once connected it is fine as I have the IP and folder location saved in FTP application, just the connecting bit the Mister end...

Thank you

Once you have set Wifi up then you should never need to do it again. You certainly shouldnt need to run the wifi script every time.

Interesting , perhaps I was a bit too eager to access the menus on last test. I'll boot up again in a min and leave it on OSD menu and let you know

It is now auto-reconnecting, i was being too impatient :D So good/bad news - good in that it is fixed. Bad as I feel silly for not realizing before posting :D

Thank you
