Anteater wrong orientation option

It seems the orientation option is backwards, when you choose vertical, it is horizontal and vice versa.

Actually, it seems it isn't just anteater, am I just expecting different behavior from that option than was intended?
At least in Anteater, Vertical is what the image will look like on a normally oriented monitor. So if your monitor is "landscape" mode, it will display the image from top to bottom (Vertically), choosing Horizontally will display it from Left to Right (or vise versa) and is used when you rotate your monitor/display into Portrait mode.
Is that NOT what you are experiencing?
