Larger image on CRT?
I know the aspect ratio is different but is there any way to scale up the image, more than what’s available in the settings menu?

not sure if this is any help
Thanks but that’s just about getting 5X via hdmi
You can but you don't really want to.
Code: Select all
[gameboy]
vga_scaler=1
direct_video=0
video_mode=1920,240,60,cvt
vscale_adjust=0
In core menu set aspect ratio = wide/full and scaling = normal

Why don’t I want to?
Its going to deliver horrible, uneven pixels or a blurry mess. 240p doesn't give you enough resolution to scale well, and your best bet by far is just using the default analog output. Or maybe the Super Gameboy core for nice borders.
This is assuming you are talking about a standard definition CRT. You can get much higher resolutions with PC VGA monitors for example, or certain PVMs/BVMs, which would make scaling far more viable.
Actually I'm on a CRT via scart and the output is zoomed when script installing and in the menu as well, but It scales correctly in the cores, what should I tweak to make it right?
Have you disabled super gameboy mode?
