Has anyone confirmed yet that the new 8Bitdo mechanical keyboard works with Mister?

https://www.8bitdo.com/retro-mechanical-keyboard/

I don't see why it wouldn't as all their other controllers are OK

Be good to get confirmation before buying though

Thanks

It's too bad it doesn't have a number pad but in our MiSTer world it's not needed. I'm sure this keyboard works fine but I would also like confirmation

It seems there are plenty of people that want the numeric keypad so I wouldn't be surprised if 8bitdo released a deluxe version of this keyboard that would include it.

The keyboard works fine out of the box.

What I haven't yet tried is the Super Buttons and the Super stick. You need to configure them in Windows and assign to a profile. Did anybody try yet with MiSTer?

I have the Famicom Edition with the Super Buttons and they work fine on the MiSTer, configured one of them as a screenshot button. Comes in very handy.

Hi @Chris23235,
how did you manage the mapping on the C64 core? i have the NES version and it doesn't properly work, many letters are missing. As long as i have no chance to map it, i don't buy a C64 schemed 8BitDo keyboard. Do you have a working mapping file? And did you also manage to map the big actions buttons?

Many thanks in advance!

I am thinking of replacing my current keyboard for one. When switching cores I update the audio level quite often.
Does the volume button work on the 8Bitdo keyboard? Is it registering like volume media keys?

[update: found out that the volume button does work but less accurate than volume +/- keys.]
