How to Control Fan Speed on Digital IO Board

Unread post by madmax »

Hello,

All is in the title.

How can I control the fan speed on Digital IO board., or at least, make it not run at max speed without adding resistor.
Is there an option available in the Mister settings.ini or something ?

Thank you

You can select either 3.3v or 5v for the fan.

Depending upon who made your Digital IO board you may need to fit a pin header and use a jumper cap, or you could just solder a permanent bridge to allow the fan to run at the 3.3 voltage. If you flip the IO board over you will see the voltage values silkscreen marked next to the fan socket.
