What are the best 4 player games on the MiSTer that don't require a Patreon account? Anyone tried 4 player Mario Kart 64 yet?

There are seversl 4 player games on NES, PC Engine, SNES, and N64. None of those cores require a Patreon.

If that list is not enough, there are also 4-player games for PS1 and Saturn, and more across all systems if you count turn-based games (e g. MULE and Robot Rascals for Apple II and C64)

Should be plenty to keep you busy

NHL and FIFA on megadrive, also gauntlet 4 on that system is good.

Mario Party 1-3 if you're looking to ruin some friendships

Aren't quite a few of the arcade cores open to public now? CPS 1 and 2 have quite a few solid Capcom beat em ups.

Any 4-player ones? I'm waiting for The Simpsons and TMNT to come out of beta.

Lots of 4 player arcade games are on it. The 2 Dungeons & Dragons games on CPS 2 are 4 players. In fact, I believe a lot of the CPS 2 games are more than 2 players.

Yes they have all been tried and they all work great.

Saturn has an 10 player Bomberman. Not sure MiSTer supports that many controllers though
Street Racer supports up to 8 players
Death Tank Zwei 7 players
Guardian Heroes 6 players
And there's several other 5 and 4 player games

There are many great 4 player games on Amiga as well:

• Spacetaxi 3 (4 player Space Taxi game)

• Airtaxi (5 player Space Taxi game)

• Sneech (8 player light cycles game)

• Achtung! Die Kurve (6 player light cycles game with curved lines, keyboard control (2 keys per player))

Im shocked we went this far down the list and no one has mentioned one the greatest 4 player games of all time:

M.U.L.E. on the Atari 8-bit.
