Punch-Out!! PC-10 ROM Freezing After Glass Joe

Does anyone have a fix for Punchout PC-10 (NES Conversion)? If you play it it boots up fine but once you get thru the Glass Joe fight (presumably the next screen is where it shows the high score/initials) it just freezes. I've tried multiple ROMS, I've tried turning off auto save, and cannot solve this problem. My reasoning for this ROM is my Mister is used in my arcade machine and would love for this to function with high scores.
