zx spectrum boot.rom

could anyone explain how to build a new boot.rom for the spectrum core, as i would like to make the multiface rom default over the multiface+genie rom, for me the stock multiface is more useful than the genie.
and swap it with the plus d so pressing F11 starts the multiface not the plus d, and pressing RSHIFT+F11 kicks in the plus d.

is there any find of tool to help build a rom like this or dismantle to original boot.rom

i have tried to copy /b rom+rom etc but it never works.

any help would be really apricated.
