I was wondering if a DB15 SNAC adapter would work on a regular MiSTer setup (to play NeoGeo/Arcade cores)? All I see is DB9. If it does not work is there some kind of mod that can be done?

Re: DB15 SNAC Adapter possible?
I don't believe SNAC is supported in the Neo Geo or any of the arcade cores as far as I am aware, so an adapter would effectively be useless. There are plenty of extremely low-latency USB solutions out there though.

I found one here but I have no idea if this even works, I have never seen this version before.

Ah I see, you need to use unofficial DB9 versions of the cores in order to use this DB15 adapter. The details and instructions are on the listing you provided.

Oh ok, thank you! Do you know if there is a open source (GitHub) version of the adapter?

Re: DB15 SNAC Adapter possible?
Of course it's possible. Is and it's been on sale at UltimateMiSTer.com for a long time, compatible with 2-player DB15 controllers. We sold out very quickly and are expecting new pcbs very soon from the factory to produce new batch. Compatible with the latest official add-ons, I/O v9, Jammix and Multisystem.
Compatible with our friend Jotego's cores and many other ENCCs (DB9 and DB15).

Is your version the same as the Ebay link? I am thinking if all those components are needed on the pcb...

He sells his own version so he may or may not comment on an Ebay Link. One thing for certain though Is I would trust a Ricardo device over anything found on Ebay. Buy cheap , pay twice as they say.
