Turbo File Support?

Any idea if the ASCII Turbo File is supported on the current NES Core or if there's any plans to implement it?
(Looked through the input - periphery options and didn't see anything so I'm assuming it's not supported but could be missing something)
There's at least a few games that let you save via the Turbo File in place of a password (namely Haja no Fuuin, which uses 100+ character passwords otherwise) + the Wizardry 1-3 uses it to transfer characters between games etc
