Was hoping another forum member might corroborate/invalidate what I believe may be a bug running Soldier Blade (J/U): enter the "SET UP" mode from the title screen and then toggle the "SCREEN MODE" option from "NORMAL" to "ARCADE". All the text quickly disappears leaving only the solid background color. It is possible to continue by blind-navigating to "EXIT" and the game seems to run normally otherwise.

Confirmed. This happens here too, also with verified No-Intro roms. Seems like a bug.

And now fixed in the latest unstable.
