Toaplan 2 core games freeze

Hi all,
I have a problem with all the games running on the Toaplan 2 core. They run when it is cold (first turned on) but freeze after it warms up. Switching the mister off and on and code restarting does not help. All other cores I have tried run fine.
I run the multisystem and have asked on its discord but others don't appear to have trouble. I even have a heat sync though I have an open case. I see things like Truxton 2 have a debug option in the OSD but I don't know how to use it. Any help would be appreciated.
If I do a mem test I se my memory passes at 140 but if I go beyond this I start getting errors. Is there a way to set the max speed memory access that is used? I thought this might be the issue?
Ben

For the Toaplan core, no it just runs at the specific memory speed the developer is using in the fpga core and it is a fixed clock speed.
For the mem test core you can specify any specific clock speed to test your memory at, just use the up / down cursor keys on you keyboard to adjust the clock speed in mhz.
A list of the required clock speeds many cores need is on the wiki

I have the same issue with Toaplan 2 core. Snow Bros 2 or Truxton II just freeze shortly, around 10 seconds after loading, sometimes sooner. Most of the time cannot finish playing the intro. Have not been able to figure out what is causing this. All other core runs fine without issue.
I can still open the Mister Menu, reboot and so on, but the game screen freezes.

I´ve had no freezes with this core so far. But as a toaplan fan it hurts me to say, that the "sound-emulation" doesn´t seem to be quite right to this point. This is very noticeable in Truxton 2 and Fire Shark. Some instruments in Fire Shark are much too loud, in Truxton 2 explosions are barely noticeable. You can easily compare to MAME, which sounds about right...
