Keyrah and ZXUSB support?

So I have considered building a USB Vic-20 keyboard using a Keyrah and also a Spectrum USB keyboard using a ZXUSB. Has anyone previously tried either of these with the Mister? Does it work as expected with the Vic-20 and Spectrum cores?

Keyrah isn't ideal for joystick handling (due to reuse of a diagonal between the ports on the hardware itself) and I don't think the key mapping is 1:1 (nor is it configurable).

Thanks for that. I am only interested in the keyboard.

Keyrah works great, it is also switchable between PC and Commodore layout. I did need to remap a couple of keys but that's simple, the joystick port works well enough for Vic20.

@Stinky How did you remap keyboard keys?

Mister interface let's you do that, plug in a PC keyboard as well and map away. It's in the top menu with control setup.

Aha - I thought that was the one that was only temporary and lost when you switch cores.

Thanks for the tip!

Each to their own but I'd rather have the keyboard in an original breadbin case. You can pickup a breadbin case and keyrah a hell of a lot cheaper than the blingbox and get a more authentic experience in my opinion. Admittedly the case is going to have some level of wear and tear but that is part of the authenticity :D
