Different video config for HDMI vs VGA output

Unread post by MrWeedster »

Hi.

New user here, sorry if i ask a question that may be already answered a thousand times, but i didn't find anything.
Is it possible to set different video modes if using HDMI vs VGA?
I'm using the mister on two different displays: A HDTV and a CRT and i switch when needed.
The problem is i set a video config that the CRT has 85hz but my TV can only handle 60 hz.
Is there a way to configure this properly so when it is hooked up to the CRT it puts out video mode x vs when it's plugged in to HDMI it puts out video mode y?

The music is reversible but time is not. Turn back. Turn back

You make two .ini files and then switch between them with a keyboard shortcut.
Go here for details:

Yes, use vga_scaler=0. Then HDMI uses the scaler and VGA does not.
