This seems to be a very good trackball for Mister (mainly for Marble madness). Would someone have a case suggestion for this fine piece of hw or other tips? 👌

Put some rubber feet on it underneath and call it a day. For the cable and USB board, use a plastic case and file down a part near the lid to let the cables into it then snap the lid on. Just select one with big enough interior dimensions for the USB board and the end of the USB cable inside the case, then run the USB cable out of it where you filed a small groove at the top. For the trackball wires, put heat shrink on the wires of cable that is exposed before going into the plastic case at another goove that you filed out near the lid.

I’ve used one of those GRS trackballs before in an Arcade1Up that I modded. I wasn’t very impressed with it. The ball doesn’t roll very smoothly and there isn’t enough weight behind it to really get it spinning.

Ok, I was a bit worried about that weight thing. Any experience on these?

This should be "the real deal"?

This would be very affordable, but also smaller/more toyish?
