I'd like to chime in here. I've been playing Mega Man X for the SNES, and randomly, the autofire will turn on. I say randomly, b/c there is no OSD indication that autofire has been turned on, and I am not consciously pressing the needed combo of buttons. Anyway, once it's on, I cannot turn it off, even by utilizing the "hold target button + OSD menu button" combo. What's super weird, is that I know that I am correctly turning autofire off... meaning, I get the OSD popup indicating "auto-fire off". But autofire remains on.
My guess is that some part of the autofire code was borked in a recent update. It partially works, but not fully anymore.
Thx
