Hello guys, i have a problem with insert coin mapping with several arcade cores...i have a electronic coin mechanism, and it works perfectly on menu when i map coin. But, when i insert a coin with several arcade core, it doesn't add coin...For added coin, i must press a pushbutton or move stick one time, and after, coin is add...
I don't understand where problem is???

Anyone have any idea?

Until you define a device to use to control the core (by triggering some input from it), the core won't accept inputs. I don't think cores will allow multiple inputs simultaneously on a single core for a single player.

hello, and thank you for your answer....yes of course im ok with this!
But problem is different!

An example when i start metal slug 4...my arcade panel is mapped on osd, and on the core. The game start, and impossible to add coin. If i put a coin, nothing happend....coin is mapped on game without problem.
I must push another button( no matter which i press ) and after if i add a coin, coin is added and i can start the game...very strange.

Neo Geo is a very special matter. Are you sure your BIOS isn't set to console mode vs. arcade? Obviously the consolized version can't accept coins. = )

Neo Geo core is chute specific for the player. I just figured this out last month. My MisterCade build only has one coin chute. On the MisterCade, you can flip a hard dip switch and it registers a coin on both 1P and 2P with input from Chute/Coin1. If that’s not an option for you, and you still want to play the MVS version of the Neo Geo core, then you simply put the core into free play….

Your only other option to get 1P and 2P to start from Chute/Coin1 is to use a Euro or Japanese BIOS. That will also allow 2p to get credited from the 1p coin slot.

Unibios should have an option for that according to an ancient thread, but I don’t have a link.
