Voltages in component

Is it okay to have 2.9 volts at the Y cable using component?

I measured the Y cable voltage from a DVD player and it outputs around 1V but on the MiSTer it measures 2.9V.

I read the wiki about some DACs outputting 3 volts on pin 13 (HSYNC/CSYNC) and the need to use a 470 ohm resistor but, if I understand correctly, that only applies to Direct Video, right?.

I'm using the analog board and one of Antonio Villena's VGA->component adapter (an old version it seems).
I just don't want to damage my consumer TV.

Did you found a solution for your problem ?
I had the same issue (2.8v - 3.3v in green line) and this possibly damaged my Gamescare switch.

The AV adapter seems to include its own Sync on Green circuit. Maybe that's redundant if you are getting SoG from the Mister AV board? Can you try turning one of them off?
