Can the Amiga Core Be Accessed in the Home Network?

Unread post by sacredbanana »

hi all

I've had internet working on the Amiga core for a long time now but I was wondering if it was possible to have it exposed in the home network. For example I'd like to be able to SSH to and from the Amiga now that AmigaSSH has been released on Aminet.

If your Amiga sees that it has an IP address in the same subnet as the rest of your home, there shouldn't be any reason why it couldn't participate in your home network. It'll be slow but it'll work. The internet is no different from any other TCP/IP network really.
