Best Neo geo core arcade

Hello guys, on my arcade cabinet, i use arcade neogeo core, but i have a problem...high scores are not saved...
Then, i try to use neogeo console core on MVS mode, but with this score, saves of my progression is possible....for arcade cabinet its not the best...

My question is, which core must i use for have arcade roms and high score save????

I think the only way you can save high scores with MVS was to leave the machine on or use a memory card. i am not an expert.
