Amigavision setup woes

Hi!

I'm busy trying to setup the Amigavision collection on my MiSTer.

So far I have copied all the content into the appropriate folders, as per the doc at https://amiga.vision/docs.

All of this stuff is in the right place:

Shadow_Masks

I have edited my MiSTer.ini and added the required configuration block at the end and rebooted my MiSTer.

The Commadore Amiga core is available for selection, but when I run it I get a black screen from MiniMig saying:

>>> No config found. Using defaults. <<<

The UI does not load, it just shows this error message. The MiSTer menu indicates that no settings have been setup.

Any ideas how to fix this? I'd like it to use the config that was included with the Amigavision bundle.

Check if it makes a difference when you manually select the correct kickstart rom and manually mount the MegaAGS HDF and the save files HDF. After doing so reset the Amiga. I had to do this to get things running.

I manually configured the whole lot in the MiSTer menu with reference to the config blob at the bottom of the doc.

The only issue I'm having now is the Aspect Ratio which is set in MiSTer.ini like this:

custom_aspect_ratio_1=40:27

Are you supposed to be able to select this aspect ratio from the MiSTer menu?

Right now I only see Normal and Full Screen as options in the core menu. Maybe this is correct, I'm not sure...

Ah OK, from checking around it does seem like the aspect ratio is correct when I stick to Normal.

I'm seeing some hefty black borders at the top and bottom of the games I've tested - do you know if there is a good way to get rid of 'em or is that just part of the package?
